Cheers to 8 Years -- Celebrating Cork & Barrel in the Trackside District

Last Updated 8/28/2026

Eight Years in Downtown Columbus

There is something special about celebrating the milestones of the businesses that call Downtown Columbus home and this month we're raising a glass to Cork & Barrel as they celebrate eight years in the Trackside District.

Over the past eight years, Cork & Barrel has become part of the downtown experience. A place where people can meet friends, enjoy a drink, savor a pizza from Black Market Pizza and simply spend some time together.

Eight years in business is certainly something worth celebrating and we're glad they've chosen to spend those years right here in the Trackside District.

More Than a Place to Stop for a Drink

One of the things that makes a downtown special is having places where people can gather.

Sometimes it's meeting friends after work. Sometimes it's enjoying a bite to eat. Other times, it's simply finding a comfortable spot to sit down, have a conversation and enjoy the evening.

Establishments like Cork & Barrel add another layer to what visitors can experience when they come downtown. Pair a stop there with dinner, a little shopping, a walk through our public art or another downtown activity and suddenly you've created an entire evening without ever leaving the district.

That's exactly what we mean when we invite people to Dine. Shop, Explore. Experience the Trackside District.

Part of the Trackside Experience

Over the years, Downtown Columbus has continued to grow as a destination for shopping, dining, entertainment, public art and community events. Our locally owned establishments are an important part of making that happen.

Every business brings something a little different to the district and together they create the character and experiences that make people want to come downtown and come back again.

Cork & Barrel has been part of that story for eight years.

Celebrating Our Downtown Businesses

Business anniversaries are about more than a number.

They represent years of opening the doors, serving customers, adapting to the change and investing in a community. They also give us an opportunity to recognize the people behind our downtown businesses and thank them for choosing to be here.

So here's to eight years of the Cork & Barrel in the Trackside District and to many more memories still to be made.

The next time you're looking for a reason to spend an evening downtown, stop by Cork & Barrel, raise a glass and help them celebrate this milestone.

Cheers to 8 Years!

And while you're here, take some time to explore everything else Downtown Columbus has to offer.
