Business Spotlight: Dawn's Light Energy Center
How It All Began
It started with a "For Rent" sign and a nudge from within.
Michelle Kissell owner of Dawn's Light Energy Center never planned to start a business, but the moment she saw the empty downtown space in the Trackside District, something told her to just get it. With no clear plan but a full heart, she signed the lease in February 2023.
As she spent more time in the space, her purpose became clear: she was meant to share the healing art of Reiki. Michelle had been trained since 2005 but had only practiced on loved ones. Now was the time to bring it to the community.
In March 2023, Dawn's Light Energy Center opened offering a peaceful, intuitive space focused on relaxation, spiritual growth, and gentle, transformative healing.
About Michelle
Michelle's life is rooted in service and connection. She volunteers with Columbus Community Hospital Hospice, where she co-created a Reiki program for patients and she works with the Raptors Conservation Alliance, caring for owls, hawks and eagles. Her love for both people and animals shines through in everything she does.
She also hosts circles at the Columbus Public Library and Mother Nature's Emporium, and collaborates with local Reiki practitioners and small businesses downtown.
