A Fresh Look at Transcendence Salon & MedSpa
There's something new to admire in the Trackside District! The windows at Transcendence Salon & MedSpa, 2522 13 Street, are now home to a stunning new mural installation that adds even more artistry and vibrancy to downtown Columbus.
If you're walking or driving by, don't forget to look up -- this latest piece is installed on the top floor and is visible from the street, creating a beautiful visual moment for passersby.
The Artist Behind the Work: Adam Boggs Art
The mural was created by Adam Boggs of Norfolk, whose bold, expressive style has become a signature feature inside Transcendence. This marks his third mural at the salon.
The first two pieces are located on the lower level interior, where clients can experience his artwork up close. With this newest addition, Adam's creativity now extends beyond the walls of the spa, bringing art directly into the streetscape of downtown Columbus.
A Unique Creative Process
This project was especially unique for Adam. Rather than painting directly on-site, he created each panel in his home studio. Once completed, the panels were carefully transported and installed at the salon.
This approach allowed for detailed studio work while transforming the windows into a cohesive, large-scale installation. The result is a striking combination of craftsmanship and thoughtful design that complements the elevated, modern feel of Transcendence.
Art that Elevates Downtown
Public-facing art installations like this do more than beautify a building -- they enhance the entire district. The new mural adds color, character, and a sense of creativity to 13th Street, inviting people to slow down and take in their surroundings.
And this may just be the beginning.
Window art is a creative way to activate vacant or underutilized spaces, bringing energy and visual interest to downtown storefronts. We would love to see more art pop up in open window spaces throughout the district and beyond.

Next time you're near 2522 13th Street, pause for a moment and admire the view. And remember, the newest masterpiece isn't at eye level.
Just look up!
