Sculpture Walk Sponsor Spotlight: Outer Limits

A sweeping circle. A sphere filled with intricate shapes. An opening that frames the downtown around it.

Outer Limits invites you to look not only at the sculpture, but through it.

The piece was created by Tim James and Aidan Demarais and is part of this year's rotating Columbus Sculpture Walk.

A Legacy of Supporting the Arts

Outer Limits is sponsored by the Columbus Area Arts Council, 1981–2024.

For more than four decades, the Arts Council helped make creativity and artistic experiences part of life in Columbus. Although the organization concluded its work in 2024, its investment in our community continues to be seen and experienced.

Its sponsorship of pieces in this year's Sculpture Walk is part of that legacy.

We are grateful for the many years the Columbus Area Arts Council championed the arts — and for the opportunity to continue sharing the results of that commitment with our community.
